Confirm the optional venue before building the route
Tour Beijing's related shooting and wall page identifies the historical combination, but it is not enough to establish current venue availability. Ask the organiser for the range's current name, address, operating contact and written confirmation that it can receive your party on the chosen date.
Check the venue's identification, age, accompaniment and other participation requirements directly. Clarify whether non-participating companions can attend, what supervision is provided and which charges are separate. Do not infer eligibility or a lack of formalities from an old advertisement. Follow the venue's qualified staff and posted rules throughout the visit.
If current access cannot be verified, plan a Badaling-only outing or choose another confirmed visitor attraction. Never make a non-refundable transport plan depend on an unconfirmed activity.
Give Badaling enough time
Badaling is a major Great Wall visitor area with mountain approaches and substantial stairs. Decide whether you want a short walk and broad view, or a longer climb on the admitted ramparts. Any cable car or other lift has its own ticket and operating arrangements. Even with a lift, the wall is not automatically step-free. Confirm which entrance, wall section and return point are planned before setting off, especially if group members have different walking preferences.

A sensible order for the day
Choose the order only after confirming both venues and their entry times. Starting with the wall protects time at the main sight; a range-first route may suit a fixed appointment, but must leave a comfortable margin for Badaling admission. Keep lunch and the road journey in the schedule, and avoid adding a distant city attraction on the same day.
