Start with the largest public square in the world - Tiananmen Square. Then move to the Forbidden City— the Chinese imperial palace from the mid-Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty from 1368 to 1911. Today it serves as the Imperial Palace Museum, where you explore its original architecture and artifacts preserved.
From the splendor of the Forbidden City, head to the Temple of Heaven. It is the China's largest temple and altar complex, a place the successive emperors in Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for harvest. On the way to Temple of Heaven, you will have a chance to visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture. After yummy Chinese lunch, enjoy a short visit to a pearl free market not missed. Then continue to the Summer Palace, the China largest rayal garden as well as the world's longest art gallery and surrounded by one of Beijing's finest parks.
